I'm trying to find out what are the biggest tires I can put on my stock 2002 Montero XLS(265 x 70 x r16 currently)! Please advise if someone knows or if someone has done this succesfully.

with the right rim set you can run a 33"x12.5" unless you're talking about a montero sport then you're looking at like a 32"x9.5" i assume you mean biggest tire without lift

Stock rims for now, I actually like them. Are you talking about different rims or will stock work. Also, local dealer said the biggest I could go without rubbing was 265x75xr16(currently 265x70xr16). I think the dealer was just being too cautious.
