its not how the mileage is calculated. You forgot to tell us how many gallons of fuel, on average, you are putting into the tank.

I guess you are putting about 15 gallons. Actually, its not that bad for a trooper, especially for a lifted one.

now try to calculate the difference between the trade-in price of your trooper, and a price of a good new SUV, and calculate how much gas you can buy for the difference.
