no way its for a full tank. There is no way for a normal vehicle to consume a full tank. After you consume a full tank, you are left stranded on a road, with vehicle motionless and you have to call a towing.

I doubt that you do this every time. I doubt that you run you vehicle until it stops motionless. You always keep some gas in your tank to reach a gas station.

What i was asking: "how much gas do you have to pump into you tank, on average basis, after you went through your usual 'tankful' miles ?"

I suppose its about 15-16 gallons, which is fine.
