Where did y'all get yours?
I'd like a secure place for the come-along, chains, tow rope, etc without junking up the cab (daily dirver). So far, Northern Tool seems to be the cheapest around here.
I check the classifieds almost daily with no luck.
Also, is there a sticky somewhere showing best places for recovery hooks for my truck? Or anyone else with a 1999 or similar Taco give some advice? I've still got the factory bumpers, no welder, etc. I'd like to start hitting the trails around here soon.

I have a Delta low profile box that i picked up from the local Schucks for ~$150. Aluminum diamond plate, full width lid, dual handles. I really like it.
As far as tow points, if you have a trailer hitch receiver in the rear you can buy an adapter that goes in the trailer hitch receiver and has a D-Ring shackle in it. This is the strongest rear tow point setup w/o installing custom bumpers.
Up front, you can get tow hooks from 4 Wheel Parts that will install in the frame up front. They replace the cheapy factory tie down brackets for when the truck is shipped and use the same hardware.

They replace the cheapy factory tie down brackets for when the truck is shipped and use the same hardware. That would need to be verified...I'm leary of adding a thick tow hook to the side with the bracket...I can't see how the factory bolts would be long enough? But my Ace Hardware had the correct length. Another option would be to just replace the factory hook (on the other side) with an aftermarket one with the clip to keep the strap from falling off

I'd like to buy from one of the sponsors here on the Wire.
However...I did see JCW had a pair for about $15, 10K lb. Lol...anyone buy anything from there? I was actually in their corporate HQ in Chicago a few years ago- they share a building with Blue Cross/ Blueshield.
I didn't see any of them chrome fist airfreshners or pipe organ speakers though...

I think when i did mine i purchased longer bolts and kept the factory brackets.

I got the fullsize chest style which just barely fits inbetween the rails of my T100, had to raise it up a bit to clear the lid, they are as good as delta and those other brands that cost $100+ more, they sell a midsize chest style that doesnt go over the rails for $180ish compared to a similar models elsewhere for $275-300. I keep all my tools, shovel, tow strap...etc in there and they're always dry. Linky
