I am running 35,s on my 7 with a 304 V8. It has the 1 piece rear axles. Not all 1 piece are equal. Some are rated for 32 and some for 35 ,s. The Dana 30 frt end will be fine if you are careful, by that I mean don,t put your foot in it to heavy off-road and definitly don,t gas it heavy with the front wheels cranked all the way to one side or the other. An auto trans is a bit easier on the driveline than a standard. If I didn,t allready have 7 35 BFG,s [ 4 on the jeep and 2 on the trailer plus a spare] I would prob go with 33 inch tires. You will need a gear change frt and rear or you can kiss highway travel goodbye and a rear locker of some sort is a great thing to have. Then a winch is also nice, and it never really ends.
