OK thanks guys well I know I am going to have to change all of the fluids because he said that the last time it was inspected and out of the garage was in 1998 and I was already planning on lifting it and doing some nice trimming with the sawzall. As to gears what should I be looking to get I know my dad has like 5:** in his Willys but I think that would be too much, also it isn'y going to be a road driver, maybe drive on short trips like 1 hour but more than that it will be towed.
