Thanks everyone for the info on tranny slippage, I have another question before i drain the fluid, and check the filter. is it possible that i am getting slippage because I used (synthetic ATF) I am considering going back to the original ATF can I do this without causing any harm to the seals? I would like to tighten up the bands as well but thought maybe I should go back to original ATF first and see if slippage goes away. I didn't own the jeep that long before I changed the tranny fluid and filter so I dont remember if it slipped prior to me changing the fluid.
