Ya I like the low profile of this Cobra unit just because I dont like the look of the cb in the dash. Plus it saves having to go through all the mounting of it. I had a 12V supply in the armrest that I tapped into to run it and it works great. Plus I am guessing...not 100% on this but it should be stronger signal than the handheld.
