I've got an old Galaxy President that's been modified up to about 100watts (one of the "import" models). Big, heavy, powerful, and reliable. I've talked skip out to 500mi. I'm shopping for a cheap handheld for out of the truck times, but since I drive a Mitsu, I don't have to get out very often....
