I am experiencing hard starts (good cranking) and stalling. Thought it may have been electrical because it seemed to turn over as I was letting the key off the start position. Tried starting fluid and fired up. Rebuilt and cleaned carb, fuel filter is good. Jeep runs good as ever when it's running but dies immediately in a stall and takes 30 seconds or so to restart. Could this be an ICU issue? It's been running fine w/ this setup for three years, now all of the sudden... Coil or spark box.. Would it trouble you greatly to tell us a bit more about the year of your Jeep? Turned out to be a bad magnetic pickup in the Motorcraft distributor. 1977 CJ-7, fiberglass body, AMC 360 w/ headers, DUI ignition, Edelbrock intake and Holley 4150 carb, TF999, Dana 300, 4.56 gears lockers, York air comp, 4" susp lift, 2" body lift, BFG 35" M-T tires, Megashifter, AGR pump & box, REP8000 winch.
