Well the saga continues. It turns out it isn't the pump (put a rebuilt one in and it still growls) and to be honest the mechanic is stumped. He's bled the power steer system and still has the growling noise. One of the things that I haven't received good clarification on is the small solenoid that has two hoses running from the intake manifold that mounts on the pump?

Opps.......TAP charged me $65.00 for a used pump.
