The Add-A_Leaf works, but it will feel like a washing machine on spin cycle... It's not a smooth ride at all. Do a google search for 'Samurai Suspension Lift' and you will come up with plenty of reading. 15 years ago there were very limited possibilities out there, today there are tons of options. All of these options will fit into a 'budget', it just depends what size budget you are actually working with. Many of the Sammy vendors out there have kits to make the job easier. Just remember, 'Cheap' does not always mean 'safe'. Monster shackles are a good example... Here is what I went through (for the most part) during the growth of my trail rig. http://www.billjohn.com/suspension/index.htm
