Need a Spot
Hi - I'm a new member with a few questions. I'm the new owner of a '98 Rodeo S 4x4 with a bunch of nice mods already done to it by the PO.

So I'm looking to fix a few things and do some general maintenance and performance upgrades to my new truck...

My question concerns the rear window washer jet - which looks like a black nubbie thing mounted to the roof of the truck above the rear window. Mine's missing and I'm looking to buy a replacement (the washer fluid pump works, it just has no direction to the spray, squirting everywhere). Anyone know the part #, or what it's really called, or what it costs?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

(Edited to just one question. Other questions will be posted seperately).

Ummmm, sorry. I thought these were Tech questions...
So what type of post qualifies as a tech question? (I read your "Read this first" and thought I understood.)

Well...generally, we try to keep it to one question per thread. It makes sure a) your questions get answered and b) it is just a mess when you try to carry on three conversations on unrelated subjects in one thread.

Asking "How to replace the washer thingy?" is Tech. Asking "Where do I get parts?" is Talk. Especially when it has been covered many many many times here on the forum.

Asking "How do I change fluids?" is Tech. Asking "What fluids do I use and any special tips? is Talk.

Finally, asking about upgraded filter and any other questions about parts in general is Talk.

Is it hard and fast? No. It is part magic and part personal call. Your post just happens to have more Talk than Tech.

Good Luck,
Michael

OK, I think I "get it". I've editted this post to only have a question about the window washer jet part. I'll post new separate Qs about the other stuff. I'll likely just limit my posts to "Talk", vs using "Tech", since Tech seems so narrow and controlled.

THX
