hmmm..... I recently installed a weber 32/26 w/ electric choke. jeep runs awsome but today it stalled twice on me. on on the freeway doing about 80mph just for a brief second. i pressed on the clutch and slammed on the gas, jeep turned right back on almost like 1/2 a second after. and later this evening it stalled at a light. i turned the key without stepping on the gas and it turned over but no go.... i slammed on the gas and it slowwwly chugged back on. im thinking its the electric choke? i had to use a different lead for the hot wire. does anyone else have a clue as what it might be? oh yah... 88 jeep wrangler 4.2 and yes I already replaced the inline fuel filter today... thanks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />

Did you do the dist bypass when installing the new carb? If not your timing is fuxed!
Did it backfire? If not then it is prolly fuel related. the pump or filter.
