Your right we would be lucky to get 6 trucks. If we get more then I'll deal with it.

We have good interest from the SWB group, 5 so far. Where is Rory, he lives out by Ft Irwin? I'll PM him.

BTT, Mod's anyway to make this a perma-post until this fall?

I'm going to be looking at the calender tommorrow and throwing out some dates. It's looking good for SWB turnout! OffRoader said he might give it a go in his new red truck.

Les, when you're ironing out the final details, please identify a decent drop-spot for tow-rigs. I'm not certain yet if I'll be towing but I'm thinking that's the way I'll go.

Yup, I'm here. Planning on going. I'm sure the new rig will be ready by then. I'll be putting the body lift on soon and 4crawler's making rock skids for me too.

As for making this a sticky post at the top, unfortunately, it's still too early to do that.

my girl saw this and won't shut up....

3) How many people going, will be bringing other women for her to occupy her time?

1) As I understand it, this trip will be more than a day.

2) Not as far as than the distance I have to drive (sorry, couldn't resist)

3) I'm planning to go. I may try to convince my girlfriend to go, but I think the chances are kinda slim due to her general commitments in life.

Dates are not set, I'm thinking early October how does that sit with everyone? I'm open for suggestions.

From San Jose it's 500 miles to the start, 7-8 hours.

It's a multi-day trip. For safety the only bail out point will be in the middle where we pass over the paved road. My wife gets car sick unless she is driving. Wives and girlfriends are more than welcome. This trip is more "Safari" than hard core 4x4 so it's a great introduction.

You never know on how many will show up. I will be there . We have a lot of interest so I'm thinking 3-7 trucks.

It's going to be a blast!
