Les,
If it's just the three of us maybe we should cancel the entertainment we had plan. Those catering outfits aren't cheap.

Just mapped it, only 260 freeway miles for you. I think you will be fine with just 4th. 33's are like "overdrive" anyways Sent you a PM with my cell

Weather update from the NWS. I can only hope it's a tailwind

"A POWERFUL GULF OF ALASKA STORM WILL BRING A ROUND OF STRONG WINDS
TO MUCH OF THE MOJAVE DESERT AND SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN THURSDAY AND
FRIDAY. STRONG WINDS WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE RIDGETOPS OF THE
SIERRA AND WHITE MOUNTAINS ON THURSDAY...AND THERE WILL ALSO BE A
CHANCE OF STRONG DOWNSLOPE WINDS REACHING INTO THE OWENS VALLEY.
ANY DOWNSLOPE WINDS WOULD CAUSE DIFFICULT CONDITIONS ON HIGHWAY
395. ..ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. THE STORM SYSTEM WILL
MOVE SOUTH ON FRIDAY...BRINGING THE POTENTIAL FOR A WIDESPREAD
HIGH WIND EVENT ACROSS MUCH OF THE MOJAVE DESERT. ANYONE PLANNING
TO TRAVEL ACROSS SAN BERNARDINO...CLARK OR MOHAVE COUNTY ON FRIDAY
SHOULD STAY ABREAST OF THE LATEST FORECASTS AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
THE WINDS SHOULD SUBSIDE ON SATURDAY...AND QUIET WEATHER IS
EXPECTED SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY"
