They are a M16x1.5 thread, I am thinking the axle drains might be M18, I could well be wrong.
You could make a spacer the height of the banjo to seal up the bolts when the hoses are removed.
You will also need to remove the oil thermostat, back out it's fitting remove the element and place it in a baggy and replace the cover.
