I have a stick welder and a cheapie HF wire welder and I suck at both... Somehow I passed my metal fab class in college <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Lol- you went to Tech, right? They just teach you how to wend railroad cars and other parts for NS, don't they?
One of our fraud guys here got his ME degree at Tech- he always talks about how fun fab class was, and how he actually used it in the locomotive shops.
