Yeah they pulled the weights off and shaved them and then put them on the balance machine and replaced weights as needed to fine tune things. I watched the whole process and it was very time consuming but interesting and I learned, so it was worth it.

You can deal with an out of round tire but when you get up to 36" it can not only be annoying but costly on suspension parts.

To the OP I hope it's a CV because in my neck of the woods it's cheaper to replace a bent axle or get your tires shaved.
