Hi I'm new to the Toyota world. I've been in the diesel performace world for the past year or so (still am). I just purchased a fairly clean 85 Yoda with 7inches of overall lift.. (Has 3" body that probably wont be staying don't like body lifts much...). As the topic implies what do I need to know as far as flat towing this vehicle? I have read to remove the rear drive shaft and make sure the front hubs are unlocked. I have multiple trailers but the homeowners association is on my butt about having a trailer in the driveway. I'm in college and like to have something to tinker on here and then tow it ho,e to use my shop for larger projects.

Also what do I need to look for in a cheap tow bar? I'm not too worried about it pushing my truck around too much will be using my 3/4 dodge cummins to pull about 8100# dry.

1 specific question that comes to mind is steering?
