Need a Spot

I have bought a 1985 4.3 engine and i am thinking of putting it in my '86 Sammy. I live in the mountains of NC and the 1.3 is a little underpowered, even with the weber carb upgrade. I am also wanting to lift it. I know this will take some "engineering". I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or has attempted this swap. Thanks.
