I just made an offer and a small deposit on a '95 Land Cruiser. Will likely own it by Monday.

That will bring an end to the mini-truck era for me and usher in a whole new experience.

My truck will likely be for sale when the new Toy comes home (no place to store it) and that brings mixed feelings for me. I hate to let it go. So many fond memories, so many trips, SOOOOO many bloody darn hours in the garage.... And way too many trips to the ATM machine...that's for sure.

If I could figure out a place to park it, I'd probably keep it. Heck I'd almost rather have it as yard decoration than sell it, but 4 vehicles is 1 too many, so it will unfortunately likely have to be sold.

The Land Cruiser will be built with road trips and expeditions in mind rather than hardcore wheeling, so suspension mods will be kept to a minimum. I will possibly add my 33" tires to the LC with no or minimal lift, but that will be the extent of it.

This one didn't have lockers, so eventually, I'll probably put ARB in the rear diff. The front diff will remain open and stock for now. I also plan to add an ARB bullbar, winch and a roofrack, and possibly some sliders. But I don't plan to go too crazy on the exterior and weight will be kept reasonable. Most of the good stuff will be in the inside, where I got some plans and ideas.

I guess I can't really post any updates here when I get started on this project since it's the mini-truck section, but check out my website in the coming months if you're interested.
