It sounds like you have weighed the pros and cons of keeping both, and you have been looking for something larger for a while now.

I Would think you should be able to get about $4500-5k for your rig, which will help with the ARB's, bumpers, gears, etc. It is unfortunate that we can't ever get more than 50% out of what we put into them.

You are also right about being able to take it anywhere you would have taken teh '89 and places that you may not have. A couple of years back I ran into a group of LC's on Fordyce creek trail, they ran the entire trail in Luxo-utes. That was the first and only time I have scene LC's out on thetrail. With as heavy as they are they actually performed very well. In the end it will be a better choice for what you like to do.
