Thanks to cap510 for finding the following locally and then holding onto it until I had enough cashola to get it...
[Linked Image]

So, I'm back... although it's not going off road until I complete a full work up of maintenance items, fix a few things and add protection and other upgrades.

A couple of questions.

Seems the windshield washer tank is toast. I ordered another one via the dealer for $24 but am curious how hard it is to R&R?

Also are the rubber parts for the steering system available? There's a part that's mounted to the frame on the passenger side that has a rubber grommet/bushing on it. The rubber part is missing and I'm wondering if they're available either via Mitsu, parts house (yeah, right) or if one of you has a spare one?

Also, the seats are have a knob that goes on the side to adjust the lumbar support I guess? One of my knobs is gone. Anyone have a spare gray one?

Overall, it's in pretty decent shape and even has the original car mat's that say Montero on them.

Oh, anyone need a set of 235x75R15's with a moderate amount of tread mounted on mitsu steel star wheels?

Sweet! It looks a lot like my co-worker's Raider -- same color, mirrors, etc.

I would think R&R'ing the washer tank should be easy. If I recall they just slide up and out of the bracket and then you disconnect the hose. If there's fluid in the tank it will likely drain out through the pump when you pull the hose off. Assuming the pump is working I think it's one or two screws holding it in to the tank. Put it in the new one, hose back on, back on the bracket, fill 'er up and you're good to go.

No help on the other items... sorry. You still have your old truck, or did Les's vultures carry it away

Right on! Ray.

Wheres your LWB? The blue one that I had seen on the Rubicon, that helped guide my decision to buy a Montero.

Russ has an LSD axle near you that I know hasn't been installed yet. Ask him if he's tired of tripping over it
