Well, waiting on Roger's Rock Skids (4crawler.com) so this past friday I installed the stereo and speakers that came with the rig... (carlos, wanna install the body lift in 2 saturdays?)

Having it play MP3's and WMA's is great. I use the stock sampling rates when I rip my cd's to WMA files and can fit numerous albums onto a single CD. No need for a changer any longer or even using an ipod on the trail. Also you might notice the new "pewter" 4D cell mag light. I'm also thinking about getting a set of LED lights but haven't decided on which one yet.

I also added cup holders for my morning Venti White Chocolate Mocha's. Notice the flush fit at the rear of the cup holder unit.

While at my brother in law's on Saturday he suggested I fix the finish using a clay bar, buffing compound, and wax. I wasn't sure how to do that so he showed me. You can see the shine of portion he did on the right side of the picture and the original status of the finish left side of the fender. Notice how dull the reflection is. No shine whatsoever.

Since the red is a single stage paint, it's possible to do this. Here's that fender after I did the rest of it.

Sorry no full rig pics because they didn't come out (rookie maneuver using ISO 1600 ).

These pics also show the shine I now have versus the original highly oxidized finish.

What size are your rims and tires? I saw the 32x11.50 but just wanted to know what size rim they are on. Looks great by the way.

That is a really nice 2 door. I have always liked those. That will look sweet with the body lift and sliders

They're American Eagle Type 54 rims IIRC.
Size is 15x8 with a neutral offset.

Thanks. Hopefully I'll have a lift on in a week or two. Just need a extra helping hand. Any South Bay guys wanna do a body lift next weekend? Can't do it this weekend due to family obligations.

Two Saturdays!? I did my rig by myself in 6 hours and a Gen I LWB with two other people in 3 hours. You should be able to knock it out right quick.

Nice truck, BTW.

(We need a jealousy graemlin)

Roll Me Over
Gawd! That is one of the nicest SWB 3.0 V6 Auto's I've seen in a long time.

Do you know when the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, radiator was done last? If not, I would get that all sorted out before too long. Also, change all of the fluids.

Better safe than sorry.

That is one sweet rig!
