hi im new to the off road world and i am currently on my off road project truck witch is a 89 yota truck, reg. cab, short bed, v-6, 4x4, 5 speed. i'm looking to upgrade my suspension. Well i plan on doing a straight axle conversion so i need an axle. i've heard that Dana 44s were the best and i have managed to locate a pair but have not yet purchased them. i would like any information on identifying them as Dana 44s, as well as any input in the way of good suspensions and everything that comes along with installing them. i am thinking of going with marlin crawler and am working with about $2000 to $3000. i plan on doing all the work with my own two hands, for fun and to eliminate the installation cost.

This is the ad for the Dana 44s.
