I'm pretty sure Chevy's never came with a Dana 44 rear, and considering that its an 80's era vehicle, its probably a 10-bolt front and not a D44 either. It is very similar though.

Brian is right- the Toyota axle is a better choice for the rear. The D44 front is more work to put in than a Toy, but it has some advantages that the Toy doesn't and vice versa. If you do go with a 44 front, here is some info that will help:
