Well, I worked on it last night and it was the jet valve, it was loose. I tightened it up, and checked the other ones and #2 was broke. Luckily I had some from the other head that I got from a junked montero that I purchased. I replaced it and put it all back together. Ran it and when I checked the #1 cylinder for oil, it was bone dry. I am not gonna drive it though until I put in the kit to get rid of them. I am ordering it today and maybe I will have it by the weekend. Thanks for all the help!!!!!

Sweet! Glad to hear you found the problem. Funny how you're #2 jet valve broke as well, I guess that's the one that tends to go first? I bought mine with it bad and made the mistake of listening to the previous owners diagnosis rather then checking everything myself. Cost me two intake gaskets and an extra night of work! For the elim kit, I carefully sprayed carb cleaner way down the hole on the threads, let it dry then put some loctite on the elim threads and torqued them in.

If it's not the jet valve it could be the valve guides, not as common now but the exhaust guides used to drop down and allow oil to get in the cylinders. New guides have a lock ring to not allow it to drop. Also check to be sure the valve seal has not been hit by the retainer. More common if aftermarket cam and /or higher ratio rockers have been installed. I have seen this on the turbo engines after mods have been done.

Got everything back together with the jet valve eluminators installed. Seems to be working fine. It does seem to have a skip or something when going up a hill in 5 th gear. Does good at low RPM's and other gears, and High rpm's in every gear but 5th. I am just glad it's on the road right now. Thanks for everything.
