FWIW I am just seeing this post for the first time, didn't get on line last night <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />

Make sure the wheel studs are not stripped, that is a fairly common problem when shops use impact wrenches to put on lug nuts.

A tire can be out of round, sometimes a belt can break or separate and the tire will get the equivelant of a hernia, but usually not both tires at the same time.

What kind of wheels do you have? Steel wheels can get bent, but a cast aluminum wheel will usually crack before it bends that much.

If the whole axle was bent you wouldn't get a wheel wobble, the wheels just wouldn't track straight with each other...might get a shimmy of some kind though.
