i'll be using the original Eibach lift as a basis
Glad to hear!!

the only thing i have to figure out now is what length of shock to use so that the coils don't fall out in the rear.
My original Eibach setup required no larger shocks ...whatsoever. The rear end just sagged a bit. Why would you need to put larger shocks in your setup???? What are you planning to do different?? And with the shorter lift that your'e doing...Would you even need new strut mounts???

if i give it all away, i'm not protecting my business secrets now, am i?

just going to boost the rear springs about another inch and make them ride just a tad bit stiffer.

Nice Sportage.

Looks like mine, but red instead of white. Mine also has rock sliders under the body and is running 31x10.50s.

Dave,

I'm running the Eibach lift and have Skyjacker shocks that are 1" longer than stockers. I did this so my springs wouldn't come out like Dennis's did last time we went to Moab.

thanks, now i just need one that's one inch longer than that. that ought to come to about 22.5" extended, right?

ps- another thing- i may try going with some higher end shocks, or maybe try to get Procomp to build me some specifically for the Sportage. we shall see.......
