Yo Dave - When I replaced my struts with Monroe Sensatrac's and put in the Eibach kit, I used Monroe Sensatrac's in the rear. I have no idea what part number we used, we just measured it against the Monroematic's. The result is a stiffer than avaerage rear. I'd have to add weight in the rear to get a smooth ride on the Highway but that's a small price to pay for stiffness.

I'd like to have that part #, could use a little stiffness! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> And, Oh, yea.........waiting for Dave to market those round rock sliders. Ones that are strong enough to use for lift points for the farm jack!

got an air-over hydro cylinder, but i still need to buy the steel for the frame and buy a bending die or 2. the dies are the most expensive part of this project and i have to buy at least 2.....
as far as stiffness, the rear is the last place in the world i would think you'd want stiffer, but, it's your a$$, not mine. i always liked it stiffer up front and soft in the rear, but not too soft, i guess a quickly-progressive spring rate, like the ones i have from the Aerostar. they are soft for about 1-2 inches of compression travel, then, they get super stiff really quick, so i have never bottomed out with these coils, even though i only have about 4" between my bumpstops and my lower coil mount, and yet, they still compress fully when articulated. they are a really nice spring.....

Stiff in the back, try using the front spring in the rear and only then will you know what stiff really feels in the Kia. I enjoyed the extra stability from the stiffness, but the faminy complained and had to go back to my Mazda MPV springs. As Dave said, the progression of the springs is a real treat and the best thing is, drop, they give a lot of down travel, something I didn't get with the Eibacks, the front springs in back, or the stock springs, and as Dave, I have never bottomed out even when fully compressed, oh, by the way, am I supposed to have bump stops in back, cause I don't see any.
