Three inches on top of the stock SR lift? So you are running four inches compared to a stock genII from say 1993?

I hope everything works out for ya. Thats def pushing the SR to the limits. What about any testing. Flex it to the limit, does it rub? Honestly, I think 35's are the biggest i'll be going. It might be able to handle it, but you'll be replacing steering parts sooner than normal.. I would go for a SAS, any future plans for that? Or should I say, how soon before a SAS? Keep up the good work. You've always been the first to do alot of things on Monteros, good luck

Awesome. Yeah, I have a SAS backup plan already but honestly I would like to keep it MITSU as much as possible. Nothing wrong with other brands but it's just cool to have such a beast with only Mitsu parts and a few mods. I am planing on hitting the trails the following weekend to stretch the suspension and see how well it holds up!

Damn, Now between you and Scottie you are making me want to do this with my SR. Mine is intended for towing a trailer with casual trail use. Maybe I will do another Gen 1 SWB with 35s. I will be making a torque arm setup for the coil spring rear to eliminate binding back there. This is a few months away but I think it will be a good thing.

yeah, except I don't think I will ever go bigger than the 35's I have now, but of course, I said that when I had 32's on my LS. One more thing to think about, once I start using my arb in the front axle, I will have to use caution b/c with 35's and a front locker, you could really snap those CV's in the front. carlos, are you running a front locker with those 37's, or would that be the SAS plan you have?

Looks good. I am curious to see how well it holds up to wheeling when you run it. I am sure it will take a smarter approach to certain parts on the trail but thats fine as long as the right person is behind the wheel. I like the idea of keeping everything as Mitsu as possible.....makes it more "authentic".....Keep us posted on how it holds up...and kudos for being the first pioneer to try it....
