Run OEM spec plugs only in these trucks. The ignition system was designed to run on a specific spark plug. I would change the spark plugs and do a compression test while I had the plugs out. If it still has a miss on that cylinder with the correct spark plugs installed and the compression was good in that cylinder, you have a bad coil for that cylinder.
