This actually brings up an interesting idea...I know that the SAS guys will disown me for sure for even thinking this but I've thought about the possibility of torching off all of the Isuzu IFS components and then welding on mounts and such for a Toyota based Total Chaos long-arm IFS system (off of a Pickup or Tacoma) and then also swapping in a IFS axle off the same vehicle and using the proper CV's to retain the 4x4. My reason for doing this would be to turn my Zu into a prerunner type vehicle with the ability of blasting through the desert at relative high rates of speed without jarring my teeth lose ( not that my Luv is capable of terribly "high" speeds as it sits now but thats a different thread all together) I guess this insane idea would kinda-sorta-maybe-a-wild-chance-on-a-cold-day-in-hell fall under the same category as what is being presented here.
