The SYE(slip yoke eliminator) will help the drivelineout by shortening your output shaft on your X-fer, which gives you room for a longer driveshaft( about 3-4 inches longer), thereby changing your angle some. You have theright idea about the X-fer drop, best to keep it up high, but, like the guy before me said, it is a cheap quick fix until you can get the SYE.
