What do the inside of the battery cables look like? When being JUMPED the clamps are on the outside of the cables. Installing a new battery should only be done after cleaning the inside of the cables.
Do the cables have the original end clamps on them or them are those silly aftermarket thingys?
AND do you have the red one on the + post and the black one on the - post?
