Went to the Station in Strathmore for the Sunday brunch (HIGHLY recommended for anyone who likes to eat)

I saw you on the highway, we were in our Jeep on the way to Calgary.

Sorry about the flat, I've never had anything like that happen either.

yes the safari rack came with it, I absolutely love it, its like having a truck box on the roof. I am looking for a ladder to go on the back door as its a pain in the pooper to get stuff up there right now. I just stand on the spare tire. I am getting these tires mounted on my aluminum rims and I will have the white letters go in, I am just not a fan of cleaning the white all the time at the carwash, sometimes it gets a little stubborn to clean.

it looks too busy with my black wheels and the white letters dancing around.

You're right. With your black rims the white letters don't look proper. Mine, OTOH, are flashy rims and I think the white letters might help.

On another topic - where did you get the Safari rack? Did it come with the truck? I'm on the hunt for one right now. I'm hoping to have one before camping season.

Darn! I've been looking for a rack similar to the OEM one. Nothing seems to come close. Anybody out there have any suggestions?

The saga continues. The tire was defective and they can not find a 4th to replace it with. So - I now have 2 33's on the back and 2 265 75's on the front. Kinda looks like a funny car (truck) right now. Unfortunately I can't use 4WD and we're in the midst of the largest snowfall in Feb, on record, in Calgary.

Sucks to be me!

On the upside it sounds like Schule's performance is attempting to get me the same deal on the BFG's as they did on the Dunlops and just swap them for me. It just might not happen until Monday or Tuesday.

What about the spare tire? Does it also need to be changed? (if installing bigger size tires).

The proper way to do it is to get 5 and rotate all 5. I didn't but if you have the $$$ it's probably a good idea. If you blow a front tyre as long as you're not in AWD or 4X4 you're fine with a smaller tyre on the front. But if you blow a rear and have LSD then you need to pull one off the front for the rear and put the smaller tyre on the front. At $150.00 a tyre I just went with 4. :-)

alot of shops will have used tires that they will just give you, you wont be able to rotate it but it works great as a spare next time you go to the shop ask if they have a used 33 or even a 31 wouldn't be bad <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
