I made no changes to the hydraulics. And it's noticable. Stops VERY evenly, and very, very well. The rear pads wear a little quicker than I expected though. I've gone through a set and a half since the swap (including the pads that were on it already). The fronts have worn from 75% to about 40% in the same time.

IMO, it's a cheap trade to make for the increase in stopping power. It's really pretty amazing, especially with the bigger tires.
