That was me. I have some concerns regarding the TL casting and using ARP studs as they have a fatter shank than the OEM head bolts. It will definitely restrict oil flow somewhat. Is it enough to make a difference? No idea.. There are certainly more TL casting with ARPs than those that have failures.

I've put about 70 miles on this setup. I pulled the #1 passenger side ARP, ran an OEM bolt. I also dropped my spring pressure. Added a true turbo oil pump and did some recommended modifications to one of the rocker towers to retain more oil. No indications of exceesive wear on the cams or rockers right now. Previously, by 200 miles, I at least one rocker failure.

Still tuning this setup, but up to 10psi currently. 10 psi on a 22RE really wakes the thing up.. :-)
