I have ARP studs and had no clearance issues. I can agree with EB on the tap. I chased my holes with a tap and it caused one hole to not hold torque. I had to Heli-coil them all. Be careful here and use a magnetic drill or have the machine shop do it for you. I have a couple of studs that I had to encourage to start into the holes in the head. Also I haven't had any oiling issues on the cam.
