Getting the Wheeling Fever
I want to get my entire truck lined Dark green, white or if the company can do it Dark Olive green. What would be the best company or liner to have do this, which would last the longest and fade the least.

thanks for any help

Seeing the product side by side, as well as seeing how indestructable line-x makes a piece of paper, a doughnut, and a concrete building block, I would have to say Line-x is your best option out there.

I am not sure how many colors Line-x comes in, it used to be only a few mainly grey and red other than theblack. With the new process the tint is added at the nozzle so there may be an unlimited amount of colors. White would be the best to insure against fading. Doing the entire truck is a bit over kill, most only do from the water line down, to save on weight. IIRC the added weight in a full size bed is about 200lbs, so doing an entire truck will add quite a bit of extra weight.

The best thing to do is go to the spray on truck dealers in your area and check the product out for yourself, see what colors they offer, and pricing.

Need a Spot
Line-x and rhino are similar. Line-x has more texture. Up until a couple months ago line-x was the only bedliner to offere a NATIONWIDE warranty but now so does rhino. Black is the most UV stable color that is offered, all colors will fade to a different color over time. light colors I.E. white are the worst. The hardener turns yellow over time and black is the only color that hides that. Colors can be done but a top coat of urathane paint has to be sprayed on top to keep the color true. Line-x wieghs just a little more that water per gallon (8.4 lbs.) depending on the bed size line-x might add 20-30 pounds. other wise all toyotas with line-xed beds would sag in the rear. About as similar as a Toyota and Ford Ranger. Yes they are both trucks, but that is as similar as it gets. He gets a couple of ex-Rhino customers a month who are now getting their new truck done in Line-x, or are paying him to remove the Rhino lining at $75.hr to get the Line-x.

You are right about the weight. I was talking to my buddy and he said the 200lbs I was thinking of was a custom job he did on a full size crew cab, where the bed, the inside of the cab, the lower half of the cab/bed, and bumpers were all done.

My buddy was also mentioned that the new colors(of which you can get basically any color you want), nolonger fade/discolor with a urethane coating, unlike the forst colors Line-x offered. He also mentioned you can now get the urethane coating infused with kevlar, which should make the coating last a lot longer.

The colors a dealer offers/carries is going to vary by store. My buddy only carries the basic black, red, and blue. He will do other colors but he charges more since he doesn't get a lot of demand for colors. It sounds like you could get the olive green done, but it will cost more than if you were getting just black. He figured to do an entire vehicle would run upwards of $1500-2k for the bed and a complete vehicle, since there is a lot of prep work involved.
