 blazer stalls while braking, turning, stopping, and hitting a bump

ok heres the problem, while turning, stopping, hitting any object or imperfection, going uphill my engine sputters and the check engine light flickers untill the truck stalls. I cleaned the recently replaced fuel filter and checked the fuel pump and based on what i remember fromt the last time i looked at the pump it looks the same, ie: hoses all attached pump functioning etc. Does the return line stop after passing thru the top of the pump/sending unit housing? thanks in advance for any help.

How many miles do you have on your Blazer and is the distributor original as near as you can tell?

Remove the dizzy cap and check for lateral play in the rotor. If there is really any at all it's going to cause problems. I had one last week that would actually touch the outsides and short the whole thing out. No fuel and no spark all of a sudden.

update. I found the culprit. The previous owner had for some reason jumped the control wire for the fuel pump into the fuse box and the poor connection came loose. so with a little finess the prob is fixed. thanks guys
