This is a common problem with older Saturns. The alternator also needs to put out at least 60% of it's peak Amp rating. For instanse, a 100Amp alternator needs to be making at least 60 Amps to sufficiently charge the battery. Entire Thread Subject Posted By Posted help? Alternator tests okay but won't charge battery!
