I'm having problems with my temperature sensor for the engine. I grounded out the connector for it and the gauge worked so I determined that the sensor itself was bad. I replaced it and it still does not work. I took a jumper wire with alligator clips on each end and clipped one end on the wire from the gauge and the other end onto the sensor and it moved a little bit. I assumed that was just because it had been sitting for a while and had cooled down considerably. I doubted the connection so I changed the connector. The gauge still does not show any change after the engine is obviously warmed up. Any helpful hints or tips on this?
Thank you in advance.
