comming from one "stubborn teen" (haha) to anonther, i say: where are you getting all of this money from? If you really are a teen then mommy and daddy must be forking over some big dough for this project, i wish i had parents who threw me cash, my jeep is commin along as fast as the money comes in...

on another note, i am no genious with trucks, but i have my basic knowlage..
first off- carboration = bad idea
secoundly- you are going to have to shave the inner fenders to fit the engine, make sure you move the battery and properly seal the engine intakes.

but besides that all i have to say has been said, i say go for it, if u have the money it sounds like a kick ass project
I gotta frind that strapped a 350 to a ride on lawn mower, so anythgn is possible man! have fun..
