on another note, i am no genious with trucks, but i have my basic knowlage..
first off- carboration = bad idea
secoundly- you are going to have to shave the inner fenders to fit the engine, make sure you move the battery and properly seal the engine intakes.

is there an echo in here?

and carburetion is not a bad idea.

both carb and EFI have their strong points.

EFI gives you more "useable" throttle range.

but at full throttle a carb can be just as good or better.

there are many tests and a few techniques of polishing the intake runners and insides of the intake which pertain to whether you are running a carb or not. (fuel will puddle up)

and in addition!

if this guy has any mechanical knowledge at all then he would go with a carb to be more self sufficient.

guess what.

if i'm out wheelin on the trail and my cherokee takes a dump on me.

i'm screwed. i get to be towed home.

if i was wheeling with Mr. 350 and his rig takes a dump on him (aside from blowing up some major mechanical part) there wouldnt be anythign stopping him from driving it home.

it may not be running the best

but it would run.
