I recently replaced my old shifter seat with the marlin seat and although the shifting has improved somewaht 1st and 2nd gear are still a little stuborn (the shifter socket was still in great shape). Im not looking to spend a grand on overhauling my high mileage trans. or anything as it is still quite drivable, im just curious as to what would most likely be the culprit(s)? Worn synchros maybe?
