Well my brother broke 2 axles and now my dad just broke something so the driver side axle shaft won't come out. So it's time to just pony up and convert to the 8in. Question is will it bolt on? We will be going from an axle over to an axle under setup. I'll remove the AAL and possibly go back to the stock shackle if it looks funny. We'll also have to redo the parking brake but that's no biggie. 5 lug to 6 lug will be annoying so we will have to figure out how to convert one side to the other or carry 2 spares.

If you don't remember, this is the 86 2wd that I lifted 5in (3in suspention & 2in bl) cut the fenders and installed 33x12.5s. The combination of 33x12.5s, 4.30s, soft locker, centerforce clutch, weber carb and EB crawler cam is just too much for the 7.5in axle to handle.

Plus if anyone has a full 8in axle sitting around AZ, please let me know.
