8" 2wd rears aren't too hard to find, if you know where to look. every '78 or older 2wd truck i've seen has an 8" with 4.11 or 4.375 gears. as mentioned, the 1 tons had them as well with 4.10s or 4.30s, and oddly, 4 speeds seemed to have them, almost always with 3.08 gears.


Read somewhere that all 4 speeds had them. I know my friend's 89 2WD base everything (R.I.P.) had one.
i'd say that, but i've been messing with toyotas long enough to know that if i did, the next 2wd 4 speed i found would have a 7.5 in it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
