For new R&P, check Randy's Ring and Pinion, marlin, All Pro and numerous others.

Also you can watch Pirate4x4 forums for used or sometimes new

Not sure what ratio you need but Trail-gear as a good deal on 5.29's. They set up great I have used several sets for myself and others.

On Zuk's suggestion, I got mine from PORC. Then I had him do the install. No regrets.

What ratio you looking for?
I can find you a deal on used diffs, up to 4.88.

Staceman, I bought a couple of V6 diffs last summer with 4.10 and 4.30 gears. Gonna set-um up with 4.88 gears this summer. Paid about $180 each. I remember seeing wrecking yards asking as much as $600 for used factory 4.88's. What can you get factory V6's with 4.88's for? -- Matt

Everyone need to keep in mind, with these factory 4.88 diffs, they cannot be re-geared. With the diffs you have, you can gear to whatever, and re-gear later again if you want.
Later.

so what about front 7.5" diffs that came with factory 4.88's? anything special about them, or are they just hard to come by. i'm looking to re-gear my front, already have the rear, and was wondering if it would be easier/cheaper to look for a factory ifs diff with 4.88's or just buy the gears and do it myself...
